a quilt of beliefs
my mister bought me this pretty book while we were antiquing in st. johnsbury, vermont. we stumbled into a mom and pop bookstore (my favorite kind) and spent some time browsing the tiny literary haven. i instantly fell head over heels for the velvety cover.
each night before closing our eyes, anthony and i select a reflection for the following day. the prayers, quotes, and poems are all derived from different religions and cultures. i find comfort and beauty in pulling pieces of wisdom from the mix of people and customs i encounter while traveling. like a religious scrapbook this prayer collection is composed of unique memories and lessons from the world over. just like i am, this book it is a quilt of beliefs.
