my gorgeous girlfriend is about to welcome her second baby into the world. before her family (and life as she knows it!) is forever transformed, she asked me to capture a few precious moments of her beautiful family of three.
gianna graduated high school in june and was headed off to college in the fall. the ruffo family decided a photoshoot was the perfect way to celebrate their daughter’s accomplishments and commemorate this special moment in their lives. we were gifted a rare break in the incessant summer rain and the morning of our photoshoot was gorgeous. gianna, phil, and suzanne are all such funny and happy people. it was an absolute treat to photograph this family.
the sweetest, most curious, most loving little boy celebrated his first birthday!

all the terrible, annoying, “is this bitch really suggesting i sleep while the baby sleeps?” advice is still ringing in my ears. with the garbage advice i somehow managed to not roll my eyes at very fresh in my mental and my second pregnancy nearing the home stretch i compiled a list of the tips and tricks i wish were passed along to me as i prepared to become a first time mama.
